Our A2 Desi Cow Ghee begins with fresh milk from Desi cows. The milk is brought to a boil and naturally cooled to room temperature.
After cooling, a natural starter culture is added to the milk. It is then left overnight to set into curd, following the traditional preparation process.
Once the curd is ready, it is churned using the traditional Bilona method. Churning separates the butter from the buttermilk. The butter is then further heated to prepare the finished ghee.
This traditional process gives the ghee its characteristic aroma, texture and rich golden appearance.
At Aarogya Dairy Farm, we follow a traditional approach to ghee preparation. Fresh Desi cow milk is first brought to a boil and naturally cooled. A natural starter culture is then added, and the milk is left overnight to form curd.
